The River Cats

The River Cats show contains a wide variety of musical influences. You'll hear a great standard like 'On The Sunny Side Of The Street' with just clarinet, vocals, and guitar, and the next thing you know, you're off to Jamaica, with' Jamaica Farewell', or a Bob Marley song. Then you're back on the river with the rockin' 'Proud Mary', and 'Joy To The World'.

Feel like a road trip? Off they go taking you down 'Route 66', and you're 'King Of The Road'. Spencer's a great lover, and player of the music of New Orleans. Songs such as 'Basin Street Blues', and 'Muscat Ramble', are mixed in with 'Sweet Georgia Brown', and 'When The Saints'.

Hey it's summertime with 'Those Lazy, Hazy, Crazy Days of Summer','Groovin', and 'The Summertime Blues'. A trip to the Carribbean with a Calypso medley, and 'Guantanamera'. And back home with the Beatles' Ob La Di' , and Satchmo's 'What A Wonderful World'.

All done to the accompaniment of  guitar and bass from Michael, and keyboard and clarinet from Spencer, along with their strong vocals. Spencer Evans, and Michael K. Myers are 'The River Cats'.
